TV is Moving Freely in the UK – DTNS 4607

The UK gets a new free streaming entry from the country’s public sector broadcasters called Freely that delivers live TV over broadband. Building on its “Just Walk Out” technology Amazon has introduced a new version for clothing stores that uses RFID chips. And Microsoft’s plans for the Xbox are revealed in documents accidentally uploaded to the FTC during its lawsuit with the Redmond based company.

Preorders for the new iPhone 15 models started Friday morning and we highlight the issues some have faced trying to order one. The Irish Data Protection Commission, which has jurisdiction over TikTok in Europe, fined the company €345 million for 8 violations of the GDPR. X has contracted with an Israeli company called Au10tix to provide government-ID based account verification as an option.
