For me the real cord killer necessity is the Nvidia Shield. Not only does it have all the apps that roku/android has but it can natively run a plex server, natively mount a NAS or access files on your network as well as remotely access the Shield TV’s folders from a PC. Also runs Kodi!
Not to mention the game streaming option of GeForceNow where you can stream games like movie streaming on netflix.
