El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele announced the country’s plans to build the first “Bitcoin City” in the eastern region of La Union. A new study by New York University’s Center for Social Media and Politics found that warning Twitter users about the consequences of their posts decreased subsequent posting of hateful language for a week.
