Google+ disapproved of my name and suspended my profile. But even more, Google is now preventing me from sharing items and commenting in Google Reader because of the profile suspension. They are claiming that if you don’t have a valid profile, you can not use the social features of their services, including Reader.
It’s one thing to prevent me from using the new Google+ service, but it is unethical to take away features from a service I’ve been using for five years and that my non-Google+ friends still enjoy.
I have yet to hear any media outlet mention this yet.
